She graduated in Modern Languages and Literatures – Portuguese and English Studies from the Faculty of Arts and Humanities of U.Porto, and was the recipient of the Eng. António de Almeida award. She completed her MA in Text and Performance Studies with Distinction at King’s College London and RADA. She’s built a wide artistic training with artists/practitioners such as Teresa Villaverde, Mónica Calle, Joana von Mayer Trindade and Hugo Calhim Cristovão, Corinne Soum and Steven Wasson, Howard Barker, Anatoly Vassiliev, Matej Matejka, Thomas Richards and Mario Biagini, and Maud Robart. Relevant collaborations: Ensemble, ASSéDIO, As Boas Raparigas, Casa Conveniente, Comédias do Minho, Teatro da Garagem, and Teatro do Vão, and Daniel Pinheiro, João Madeira, João Sousa Cardoso, Teresa Coutinho, Filipe Caldeira and Paulo Mota. She has delved into improvised music, performance and film. She’s part of the programming team at Queer Lisboa & Queer Porto International Film Festivals. She’s a member of the networked performance group Utterings and of AND Lab’s research collective.


Fazer Comum ['Do Common'] is a programme for the habitation of the AND Lab Space, in Lisbon, whose main objective is to contribute to the dynamisation of the artistic and cultural fabric of Lisbon, providing space for work, dialogue, meeting, research and sharing of practices within the scope of work AND Lab - Art, Politics, Community. Extensive (self)care and expression-creation practices are welcomed, such as regular classes/sessions, specific workshops and artistic residencies. There is also space for event proposals such as study groups, book launches, conferences and lectures, meetings and gatherings, exhibitions and informal presentations, among others.
