Inês Alves

InesAlves

Inês is interested in collaborative forms of life and creation, in community practices, and in the development of attention, looking, listening and feeling. Trust in the creative and transformative potential of the Meeting, and in contact with intuitive knowledge. Through her work, she seeks to honor everyday beauty and the gift of coexistence. She has a master's degree in Cultural Narratives, from Universidade Nova de Lisboa, University of Santiago de Compostela and University of Bergamo; and a master's degree in Documentary Cinema from the University of the Arts in London - F. C. Gulbenkian scholarship. She is the director of several documentary and experimental short films. Her first documentary feature film Águas do Pastaza, produced by OUBLAUM Filmes, premiered at the Berlinale – Berlin Film Festival in 2022. She has experience in developing cinema workshops in different contexts, having collaborated with the association Os Filhos de Lumière, Lisbon Video Library, Viseu Cineclube, etc. Since 2015, she has co-organized MOVIMENTO, a collaborative cinema residency, in different areas of the country. She filmed and edited videos for several cultural and artistic institutions. Since 2022, she has collaborated with AND LAB, in audiovisual recording.
