(Funchal, 1988) Architect and cultural mediator. His work focuses on the relationship between people and territory. He also develops work in the editorial and research areas on territory and architecture. He has collaborated, continuously since 2016, in the areas of production and education with the Lisbon Architecture Triennale. From 2017 to 2021 he worked with the Architecture Publisher A+A Books as a producer and editorial coordinator. In 2017, he founded the experimental studio A-M-A having participated, in this context, in the Tbilisi (Georgia, 2018) and São Paulo (Brazil, 2019) Architecture Biennials. In 2020, he founded, with other studios, the Architects Declare Portugal platform - a declaration/commitment dedicated to promoting eco-conscious practices in architecture, and in 2022 he was curator of the seminar "2051 Odisseia dos Espaços” promoted by the Order of Architects. He was coordinator of the publication resulting from the seminar, in 2023. Between 2002 and 2023 he was press office manager at the architecture studio Carrilho da Graça Arquitectos. He was a Fellow of the Program “Cidade e Património”promoted by the Fundação da Juventude with the Research "Guide Line and Common Space". Since 2019, as a mediator and cultural and educational service manager, he has developed several projects individually and with entities such as Talkie-Walkie or CCB Garagem Sul. Highlights include territorry knowledge projects for the Walk&Talk Festival - the Excursions program of 10th edition "Where we go it shall be", the cycle of 19 Performative Visits "Re-Existir" for the Intermunicipal Community of Coimbra, or the "Olhar por Dentro" Program for 23 Milhas, Ílhavo; and educational projects for institutions such as Braga Media Arts, Plano Nacional das Artes and CCB Garagem Sul. In parallel to his activity at AND Lab, he develops projects as a freelancer, in all the areas mentioned above.
