Mariana Ferreira

Mariana Ferreira has a degree in Psychomotor Rehabilitation from Faculdade de Motricidade Humana in Lisbon, She did psychomotor observation internship at ISPE-GAE (São Paulo); studied in Texas and California BA Fine Art (dance and painting). Over the years she became interested and trained in Dynamic Theatre and Deep Memory Process and attended classes and dance groups with Silvana Pedrazzi (Odissi Indian classical dance and Oriental dance) and Marina Nabais (contemporary dance); she is a practitioner of Authentic Movement with Soraya Jorge. Nowadays, she attends the final year of specialization in Psychoanalytic Relational Psychotherapy (Psirelational). She worked as a Psychomotricist at the Neuroeducation Institute of Lisbon and currently works as a psychotherapist with children, adolescents and adults. She teaches Psychomotor Development at the Neuroeducation Post-graduation at the Portuguese Institute of Psychology and Other Sciences. She has worked with therapeutic groups of women and children, has oriented the workshops Losses (2012), The webs that women weave (2009) and Through the body we go (2009). Throughout the school year 2015/16 developed with Fernanda Eugénio the project “AND goes to school” with students of basic vocational education, in the Basic School of Azeitão.
