Patrícia Araujo is a visual artist, teacher, yogui and holds a Master in Visual Arts from ECA-USP. She researches ways and strategies to deprogram the bodymind of logics that serve biopower. In her artistic and academic practices, she promotes dialogues between intimate and political dimensions in the elaboration of proposals involving games, encounters, performances and audiovisual creation. She uses yoga tools combined with a wisdom around the five elements of nature - water, earth, air, ether, fire - as a research field for translations and invention of ways-of-knowing capable of updating and reestablishing affections anchored in practices of care and presence. She works as a videomaker through her production company Aterro and teaches in the Audiovisual Bachelor's course at Senac-SP. Patrícia collaborates with AND Lab since 2021, in the creation of video artifacts, such as the Survival Manual for Irreparable Times webseries and, currently, the web-video series 'Inside the AND Lab', 'Inside the Modus Operandi AND ' and 'AND We'. Born in Fortaleza, Ceará, she lives in São Paulo since 2009.
