FAZER COMUM ('DO COMMON') PROGRAMME
CALL TO OCCUPY THE AND LAB SPACE
Season 2025
Fazer Comum ('Do Common') is a programme for the habitation of the Espaço AND Lab, in Lisbon, whose main objective is to contribute to the dynamisation of Lisbon's artistic and cultural fabric, providing a space for work, dialogue, encounters, research and sharing of practices within the scope of AND Lab's work - Art, Politics, Community. Practices of (self)care and extensive expression-creation are welcomed, such as regular classes/sessions, one-off workshops and artistic residencies. There is also space for event proposals such as study groups, book launches, conferences and lectures, meetings and gatherings, exhibitions and informal presentations, among others.
The local artistic community, cultural agents and the general public are invited to mobilise together in doing (the) common, spreading it from the most immediate surroundings and researching, through attendance, ways of infiltrating and sustaining community modes of coexistence in urban everyday life, combining (self)care, sharing of artistic activities and responsible co-participation on a collective level.
